Hate has always, and will always, be a factor in life. Many past events were fueled on hate. Most events of hate happened for no other reason than stupidity. There was no reason for some things to happen that very well did.
Take the Holocaust for example. The Nazis were led by a man that brain washed them. Adolf Hitler taught his army to hate all Jews and people who were not a specific type. He made everyone think that all Jewish people were evil and the cause for their suffering. His hate for one group of people caused genocide.
This shows hate at its finest. There was no need for anything of that nature to happen. That shows how ignorant people were of other’s issues. The Jewish people had nothing to do with Germany’s issues. That shows how easily someone’s hate and the ability to persuade can cause chaos.
Another time of hate in its glory happened in the United States. During the 1960’s the country was a completely different place. It was a time of much racism and hatred towards others for their skin color. The African Americans were looked down on and with being treated horribly. This was a time when people were not understanding of other’s problems. That time of racism was caused by fear. That Americans thought that their, newly made free, slaves would compete for their jobs. They thought they would be able to get the same rights as anyone normal person.
This hate came to a boiling point and Martin Luther King made his famous “I Have A Dream Speech” at the Reflecting Pool in Washington DC. This showed that protesting can cause an impact; it does not always have to killing
^As you can see hate has always been in around, most likely it always will be around. In the past most issues of hate were ended by war and killing. The Martin Luther King Speech seemed to be a turning point in the way hate was ended. Things seemed to get better but sadly, there still is hate in the present.
