Hate In "Romeo And Juliet"

The idea of people being brought up into hate was the main conflict in Romeo And Juliet. Romeo and Juliet were from two different families that seemed to hate each other over a grudge no one knew about. The families were taught to hate as if it was part of human nature. Romeo and Juliet loved each other, through all of the chaos in their family. True love seems to never be lost in the chaos of the world.

Neither of the two families knew what they were fighting for. The only thing they knew was that their families hated each other for a long time and never got along.

In Romeo And Juliet, Romeo’s cousin Benvolio deplores hatred and all fighting. He only uses his sword as a way to stop fighting, never to start it. On the other hand Juliet’s cousin, Tybalt, believes fighting is the best way to end anything. He was always looking for a fight. His death by a sword symbolizes the age old quote, ”Those who live by the sword, die by the soward.”

The grudge in this book was so intense that is the Montagues and the Capulets ever came across each other there would certainly be a fight. This shows the consequences of hate in society, the unneeded death of family members over an age old grudge.

Finally after the deaths of two young family members, indirectly caused from all this hate, the families finally get closer. The two families finally put an end to their fighting. It wasa good event but tragic circumstances happened to cause this.

^Hate caused Romeo and Juliet to not be able to fall in love. That indirectly caused their lives to be ended. This is not a true story but it shows you what hate between families can cause. It teaches a lesson to not hate and that in the end everything gets better.
